Alkali Scientific offers Radiant™ qPCR Kits, a high-performance portfolio of 2X ready-to-use qPCR mixes designed for best-in-class real-time PCR. Radiant™ qPCR Kits are engineered for robust real-time PCR with earlier quantification cycle values (Ct), industry-leading sensitivity (increased limit of detection) and speed (rapid extension rates). The proprietary buffer system allows for highly efficient amplification of GC-rich and AT-rich sequences in addition to significant improvements in PCR sensitivity in low-copy assays and PCR conditions conducive to ultra-fast amplification. Furthermore, Radiant™ qPCR Kits are optimized for advanced multiplexing capability, delivering the same high efficiency, early Ct, and reaction speed even in complex multiplex assays. Radiant™ qPCR Kits are available for intercalating-dye based assays (GREEN) and also hydrolysis probe assays (TaqMan® and molecular beacons).

Radiant™ SYBR Green qPCR kits are designed for the majority of applications for the fast, sensitive detection of cDNA, genomic DNA and viral targets. Radiant™ SYBR Green qPCR kits include a pre-mixed, proprietary, non-inhibitory DNA-binding dye which also provides the option of a post amplification melt profile.
Radiant™ Probe qPCR Kits are best-in-class kits for hydrolysis probe assays (TaqMan®, Molecular Beacons® and Scorpion probes®.) The primary advantage of probe based technologies is multiplex capability (in which multiple amplicons can be detected in the same reaction). Radiant™ Probe qPCR Kits have been developed for market-leading sensitivity across a wide variety of templates, in singleplex as well as multiplex PCR reactions.
TaqMan® Probe amplification traces of human gene ACVR2B in singleplex and quadplex (ACVR2B, LIMK1, ACVR1B, and CDK7) from a cDNA serial dilution series. Panel 1 (Radiant™ Probe No-Rox qPCR Kit) shows significantly less PCR inhibition in quadplex than Panel 2 (Bio-Rad® Sso Fast Probe Mix).
1-Step Probe Assays
Radiant™ Probe 1-Step qPCR Kits provide the convenience, optimal work-flow, and sample integrity for highly efficient cDNA synthesis and qPCR in a single tube. The kits can be used universally, across all RNA templates such as total RNA, mRNA and viral sequences and utilize a highly optimized, thermostable reverse transcriptase in combination with advances in buffer chemistry for superior sensitivity, reproducibility and multiplex capability.
