More information on serological pipettes:

On the sides, these serological pipettes are marked with bi-directional graduation marks to their maximum capacity (1-50 ml) in order to measure the exact volume of liquid which is aspirated or released. For the event in which you are interested in transferring more liquid than the volume of the pipette, the serological pipettes also have generous negative graduation markings, effectively increasing the volume of the pipette and allowing you to measure exactly how much extra liquid your pipette contains. The graduation on the pipette is clear and easy to see and read, and together with the high optical clarity of the material they make measuring the volume of liquid inside the pipette easy and accurate.

ClearPette™ Serological Pipettes also feature a filter plug, which will prevent the risk of pipette cross-contamination and overspills, so you have nothing to worry about regarding the integrity of your samples – allowing you to focus your attention to other operations.

Our serological pipettes are made of research grade, high quality polystyrene. This is an amorphous material which is optically clear, extremely resilient, rigid, and has a very high heat and chemical resistance when compared to other plastics – these properties make it ideal for laboratory research activities.

The ClearPette™ Serological Pipettes are produced in carefully controlled conditions using state of the art technology. Quality tests of the products are carried throughout the manufacturing process, to ensure that we only deliver high quality products to our customers. The fact that the material is non-cytotoxic is a big asset, as it means it will not interfere with the quality of your sample and that it will not damage or kill the cells within the media. The manufacturing process is done in non-pyrogenic conditions; therefore our products are guaranteed to be pyrogen free. Additionally, these pipettes are sterilized through the use of gamma irradiation after being wrapped individually, which means that they can be kept in storage for as long as you need them to and be ready to use as soon as you unwrap them. In order to make size identification of the products easier, their paper wrapping is color coded according to international standards.
