These formalin-filled specimen containers are engineered to provide exceptional leak resistance and secure, air-tight sealing for the fixation and transport of tissue specimens in histology and pathology laboratories. Each container is prefilled halfway with 10% neutral buffered formalin (NBF), ensuring consistent fixation while minimizing handling steps and exposure risk.
The containers are produced from translucent polypropylene (PP), allowing clear visibility of contents, and are paired with polyethylene (PE) caps designed to deliver a reliable, tight seal. Select sizes feature a positive-lock closure with audible seal confirmation, providing clear feedback that the container is fully closed and ready for transport.
To support efficient storage, distribution, and workflow organization, the containers are packaged in inner packs of 24 units, with four inner packs per case (96 containers total). This packaging configuration allows cases to be easily divided between departments, sent to off-site facilities, or kept neatly organized on the benchtop.
Each container includes an updated hazard warning label in compliance with current regulations and is lot-numbered to support traceability and quality control. When used as part of a compliant packaging system, these containers meet 95 kPa requirements for specimen transport.
