Acrylamide/bis-Acrylamide, 29:1 Ratio Solution, Liquid

This solution contains acrylamide monomers and N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide (bis-acrylamide) in a 29:1 ratio, with bis-acrylamide serving as a crosslinker to form a three-dimensional polymer network. The higher proportion of bis-acrylamide produces gels with smaller pores and increased crosslinking density, making it suitable for high-resolution separation of small proteins, peptides, or nucleic acid fragments.

In laboratory and molecular biology research, this liquid solution is commonly used for preparing SDS-PAGE, native PAGE, and other polyacrylamide gels requiring fine resolution. The ready-to-use liquid form allows for convenient and reproducible gel preparation, supporting routine electrophoresis as well as high-throughput experiments.
