ARPP21 (cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein 21kDa) is a 21kDa neuron-specific, cyclic AMP-regulated phosphoprotein. It is expressed in the cytosolic region of cell bodies and terminals of medium-sized spiny neurons in the basal ganglia.
