The gene GPR182 (G-protein coupled receptor 182) is mapped to human chromosome 2q13.3. It is expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle, immune system, adrenal gland and liver. GPR182 protein might work as a receptor for adrenomedullin, a multifunctional peptide which controls various physiological functions.
