Increased expression of GPR34 in human gastric carcinoma may be important in tumor progression and prognosis. It may serve as a diagnostic or prognostic molecular biomarker and may be targeted for therapeutic purposes. GPR34 may play a role in tumor cell growth and is highly expressed in marginal zone lymphomas.
