The expression of KSR1 is regulated during T-cell differentiation, and it might play an essential role in T-cell activation and differentiation. Its expression also determines the sensitivity of cancer cells to cisplatin treatment, where the up-regulation of KSR1 is linked with increased cisplatin-induced ERK activation.
