MAGUK p55 subfamily member 6 (MPP6) belongs to the membrane-associated guanylate kinase homologues (MAGUKs) family which are tumor suppressors. It is made up of 540 amino acids with two domains. A specific guanylate kinase-like (GUK) domain is present at the carboxy terminal. The gene encoding MPP6 is localized on chromosome 7p15 with 12 exons.
