The gene TOM1L2 (target of myb1 like 2 membrane trafficking) is mapped to human chromosome 17p11.2. It is widely expressed. The protein has a VHS (Vps27p/Hrs/Stam) domain and a GAT (GGA and Tom1) domain. It belongs to the TOM1 (target of myb1) family of proteins.
