Zinc finger protein 449 (ZNF449) is a nuclear protein which has 518 amino acids. It possesses an amino-terminal SCAN (SRE-ZBP, CTfin51, AW-1 and Number 18) domain and seven zinc finger motifs. The gene encoding this protein is localized on chromosome Xq26.3.
