ChromX™ VRE Chromogenic Agar is a ready-to-use, selective chromogenic culture medium designed for the rapid detection and differentiation of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE), including Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis, in clinical and surveillance microbiology testing.
The medium contains chromogenic substrates and selective agents that promote distinctive colony coloration of VRE while suppressing non-target organisms, enabling fast and reliable visual identification. Supplied as 20 mL pre-poured agar plates in packs of 10, ChromX™ VRE Chromogenic Agar supports efficient screening, infection control programs, and consistent laboratory performance.
