The Alkali Scientific CryoFreeze™ 12-Place Cell Freezing Container, when used in a –80°C freezer, delivers an alcohol-free cooling rate of approximately –1°C per minute—ideal for the cryopreservation of most cell types and cell lines. The system is engineered with high-density polyethylene foam and an alloy-based core to ensure uniform heat removal and consistent, reproducible freezing results.

The non-absorbent foam construction does not alter the freezer environment, helping protect other samples stored nearby. Due to its low thermal mass, the container rapidly equilibrates back to room temperature once removed from the freezer.
