FastPrep 96 PCR plate holder for DNA shearing, 2 X 96 WELL PLATES

Whole genome sequencing using PacBio® HiFi sequencing technology requires gDNA fragments at a specific length prior to library preparation. The FastPrep-96™ from MP Biomedicals is a high-speed homogenizer capable of creating forces that can shear DNA in solution without the need for adding beads. This set of 2 non-skirted polypropylene deep well plates provide the ideal set up to hold PCR plates containing the gDNA solution for high-throughput, efficient, uniform, and consistent DNA shearing across the plate. This set up allows for shearing of up to 192 samples in only a few minutes. The plate assembly fits perfectly and securely in the FastPrep-96™ 2 x 96 deep well plate holder.
