Fluorescent Protein Marker contains a total of 9 fluorescent proteins ranging from 14 kDa to 200 kDa. It is designed as a molecular weight standard for our Quick Fluorescent Protein Buffer, 08W00013 (SDS-PAGE)and 08W00014 (Native-PAGE), pre-stained protein samples, and other fluorescent protein samples. Use Fluorescent Protein Marker in combination with MP Bio’s Quick Fluorescent Loading Buffer for molecular weight estimation on SDS-PAGE, Native-PAGE, and Western Blots. Increased protein band intensity allows for better electrophoresis monitoring while performing these assays. To skip the staining steps, load samples with our Quick Fluorescent Protein Buffers (SKU: 08W00013 (SDS-PAGE)and 08W00014 (Native-PAGE)) in conjunction with our Fluorescent Protein Marker and visualize the gel following protein electrophoresis. The proteins included in our Fluorescent Protein Marker can be visualized directly on a UV or LED transilluminator. The fluorescent marker proteins yield nine brilliant fluorescence bands, showing similar intensity profiles as those of Quick Fluorescent Loading Buffer pre-stained samples. This product can also be used as a molecular weight marker for Western blot experiments, and the membrane-transferred fluorescent markers can be visualized on a UV or LED transilluminator.
