This product is a mixture of paraffin oil (90%) and Arlacel A (10%). Freund's Incomplete Adjuvant has been widely used as a potent adjuvant in immunization protocols and vaccine development. Freund's Incomplete Adjuvant forms a stable emulsion with water and the antigen, allowing for slow release of the immunogen at the injection site. The slow release of antigen is thought to contribute to the high and long-lasting antibody response.
