Human Platelet Lysate (Heparin Free)

Human platelet lysate (HPL) is a cell culture supplement, rich in growth factors and cytokines produced from healthy donor human platelets. HPL is enriched with Growth Factors, Cytokines, Chemokines, and various other proteins that promote cell growth; allowing cells to flourish to their full potential in a xenogeneic environment. Its efficacy outperforms that of other serum additions. During manufacture, many donor units are pooled to reduce lot-to-lot variability. HPL, which is generated from human platelets, is an effective cell culture supplement that promotes the proliferation and migration of mesenchymal stem cells and other human cells. It is frequently used as a supplement in Serum Free Medium or as a replacement for serums such as FBS and human AB serum.
