Hydrogen Peroxide, 3 Percent Solution, Reagent, is the simplest peroxide, a strong oxidizer that appears as a clear and slightly viscous liquid. Its oxidizing properties are so strong that it is considered a highly reactive oxygen species. Due to it being a weak acid it can form hydroperoxide or peroxide salts. One of its biggest uses is in the treatment of drinking water, removing odors, organic materials and the amount of Hydrogen sulfides and Iron. Its reagent grade means it is used as the standard against which other compounds are graded in analytical testing labs.
