Purified mouse myeloma protein IgG2B (Kappa) is purified mouse IgG2b(j) and buffer. Mouse IgG2b is purified from clarified mouse MOPC 141 ascites using multi-step procedures which may include salt fractionation, gel filtration, ion-exchange chromatography, affinity chromatography, and immunoabsorption. The product is dialyzed into 0.02M TRIS, 0.15M sodium chloride, pH 8.1, filtered through a 0.22 µm filter and vialed.
