PrEST Antigen SEC13, 100µL (APrEST79420) | Atlas Antibodies™

Atlas Antibodies PrEST Antigen SEC13 (APrEST79420) is a recombinant Protein Epitope Signature Tag (PrEST) antigen, the same defined protein fragment used to raise the corresponding Human Protein Atlas antibody. PrEST antigens are engineered to cover a unique, low-homology region of the target protein, minimizing cross-reactivity with related family members. This precise design makes them a reliable reference reagent for antibody validation work.

It is commonly used as a blocking peptide and positive control antigen to confirm antibody specificity in immunodetection assays, and as a reference standard in assay development. Running this antigen alongside the corresponding antibody helps confirm that observed signal is genuinely target-specific. This product should be stored and handled according to the manufacturer's recommended conditions to preserve activity and specificity.

• Gene Description: SEC13 homolog (S. cerevisiae)
• Corresponding Antibody: HPA035292
• Buffer: PBS and 1M Urea, pH 7.4.
• UniProt ID: P55735
