The RETSCH PP 40 Pellet Press is a benchtop laboratory press designed to produce high‐quality, durable pellets with smooth surfaces, primarily for XRF (X‑ray fluorescence) spectral analysis and other spectroscopic techniques. It allows pressing of powdered or finely ground materials into pellets using steel rings or aluminum cups. With pressures up to 40 tons, digital control over force build-up, hold, and release phases, plus stored routines, it ensures reproducible, routine pellet preparation even for challenging sample materials.
