One tablet is sufficient for 500mL A solution that maintains the osmotic balance for bacteria. Used for the preparation of suspension of samples and for use as a diluent in dilution techniques for enumeration. Also used in the microbial control of apparatus by the rinse and swab method. Ringers solution 1/4 strength tablets has been used: •in inoculum preparation from mid and hind gut samples •to rinse the corneal surface to demonstrate the integrity of the corneal epithelium by fluorescein sodium staining •to wash the discs in antimicrobial bioassay of lignin compounds •to soak the gauze, to keep the spinal cord well saturated Dissolve 1 tablet in 500 ml of deionised water. We offer two media types: the superior granulated GranuCult® and the cost-efficient powdered NutriSelect® culture media, depending on your needs. The designations basic, plus, or prime are added to indicate the quality control level, from basic quality control to standard QC plus to prime for full regulatory compliance.
