Stem Cell Factor human has been used in •In vitro differentiation of equine embryonic stem cells •Chemotaxis detection system •Ex vivo expansion of umbilical cord blood CD34⁺ cells •Cytokine therapy Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS containing 50 μg BSA per 1 μg as a carrier protein. Epidermal stem cell factor (SCF) is considered as an essential mast cell growth factor and a multifunctional cytokine. SCF mediates tumor development and progression. Upregulation of the SCF gene is observed in hepatocellular carcinoma. The proliferative activity is tested in culture using TF1 human erythroleukemic cells.
