Triple Sugar Iron (TSI) Agar Slant is a differential medium formulated to identify and characterize enteric bacteria based on their ability to ferment glucose, lactose, and sucrose, as well as produce hydrogen sulfide and gas. Commonly used in clinical, pharmaceutical, and industrial microbiology labs, TSI Agar is essential for detecting gram-negative enteric organisms.
