This 14mL contact plate contains Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) supplemented with Lecithin and Polysorbate 80, following USP guidelines for use in cleanroom and controlled environment monitoring. Designed with a convex agar surface, this contact plate enables direct surface sampling for the detection of aerobic microorganisms on equipment, work surfaces, and gloved hands.

Lecithin and Polysorbate 80 serve as neutralizing agents, inactivating residual disinfectants such as quaternary ammonium compounds and phenolics, ensuring more accurate microbial recovery in areas where regular sanitization occurs. The 55mm plate size and domed fill make it ideal for use in environmental monitoring programs in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology facilities, compounding pharmacies, and other cGMP-compliant operations.
