XLD Agar with Novobiocin 20mL 15x100mm Monoplate, 10/Pk is a selective and differential culture medium used for the isolation of Salmonella species from clinical, food, and environmental samples. The addition of Novobiocin enhances selectivity by inhibiting competing gram-positive and some gram-negative organisms, improving recovery of Salmonella in complex microbial populations.
